Hot-dip aluminum-zinc alloy is successfully developed on the basis of hot-dip aluminum and hot-dip galvanizing technology. It not only has excellent atmospheric corrosion resistance, heat resistance and oxidation resistance of aluminum-plated products, but also has excellent galvanized steel products. The electrochemical protection is not easy to corrode and rust at the incision and scratches.

Hot-dip aluminum-zinc-silicon (GL) products are hot-dip aluminum (Al55%), zinc (Zn43.5%), and silicon (Si1.5%) alloys on the surface of strip steel, with excellent corrosion resistance.

Hot-dip aluminum-zinc alloy is successfully developed on the basis of hot-dip aluminum and hot-dip galvanizing technology. It not only has excellent atmospheric corrosion resistance, heat resistance and oxidation resistance of aluminum-plated products, but also has excellent galvanized steel products. The electrochemical protection is not easy to corrode and rust at the incision and scratches.

Its main advantages are as follows:

(1) The surface is smooth and has excellent atmospheric corrosion resistance. Its corrosion resistance life is 2-6 times longer than that of hot-dip galvanized steel;

(2) It has good heat resistance and oxidation resistance, does not change its color for a long time at 300℃, and can be used for a long time at about 500℃. It has good water resistance and soil corrosion resistance. Its water corrosion resistance is better than hot-dip galvanized sheets and heat Aluminum-plated sheet has better soil corrosion resistance than hot-dip galvanized sheet. It is an ideal material for the production of corrosion-resistant components such as car silencers, exhaust pipes, grain dryers, water heaters, etc.; in addition, the product’s heat reflectivity is higher than 75%, It is twice that of galvanized sheet;

(3) It has excellent paintability and good processing performance. It has strong binding force to organic materials and is the best choice for color organic coated steel plate substrates. Its workability and weldability are similar to that of hot-dip galvanized sheet, and it can be processed by cold bending and stamping, and it has a good appearance.
